A Small Boat Out of Fethiye
Gulet Mehmet Ayaz is 24 metres with a six metre beam, five cabins for ten guests and a crew of three. Built in 2008 and refitted in 2019, luxury class, home port Fethiye. At these rates she is one of the most affordable crewed gulets on the coast, and for a first charter or a smaller group that is exactly the right way in.
What a Week on Board Feels Like
Ten guests and three crew is a close holiday. Everyone eats at one table, the captain knows the group by the first evening, and a 24 metre hull gets into the small coves that larger boats have to anchor outside of. For a single family or a group of friends, that intimacy is the appeal, not a compromise.
Fethiye makes the week easy. The twelve islands sit in the bay itself, so the first swim is under an hour from the dock. Days go simply: engines after breakfast, a short hop, then the water until the heat drops. Between swims there is more to Fethiye than the sea, from the paragliders coming down over Oludeniz to the ghost town of Kayakoy up in the hills.
Evenings are quiet. The generator holds the air conditioning overnight, dinner runs late on deck, and in a bay behind one of the islands there is nothing to hear but the water.
Five Cabins for Ten Guests
Ten guests across five cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. She suits a family taking the whole boat, or five couples who would rather a modest, well kept gulet than pay for length they will not use. The crew of three keep her running without the week ever feeling staffed.
Where She Cruises
From Fethiye the natural week runs through the twelve islands, up to Gocek and its coves, and east toward Kalkan and Kas. The bays sit close together, so a week covers plenty without long days under engine. For background on the whole coast, the official Türkiye tourism portal is a fair starting point.
The Gulf of Gokova route is the other classic Turkish week if you want a different stretch. In the same class out of the same port, Gulet Susesi is a 26 metre for ten with a wider deck. A step up in size takes you to Babylon, a 37.6 metre luxury gulet working the same waters.
