A 2023 Trawler Out of Bodrum
Trawler Calm Down is one of the newest hulls in the Bodrum fleet. Built in 2023, 30 metres long with an eight metre beam, six cabins for twelve guests and a crew of six.
A trawler is a different proposition to a gulet. There are no masts and no sails, which sounds like a loss until you see what it does to the deck: uninterrupted space fore and aft, more interior volume for the same length, and a wheelhouse layout that keeps the working parts of the boat away from the guest areas. Twin 450 HP Iveco engines and two 22.5 kW Onan generators.
What the Week Feels Like
The first thing people register on a new boat is what is missing. No smell of old diesel. No trim that has been repaired twice. Everything on Calm Down still closes properly, which after a season on older hulls is not a small thing.
The second is the quiet. Trawler hulls sit heavier in the water than gulets and roll less at anchor, so the boat stays still while you are eating and stays still while you are asleep. On a week with twelve people on board, that difference compounds.
Days out of Bodrum go the usual way: an hour under engine after breakfast, then a bay somewhere in the Gulf of Gokova or south along the peninsula. Swimming until the heat drops. Dinner on the aft deck. Six crew for twelve guests means none of it requires organising.
Six Cabins for Twelve Guests
Twelve guests across six cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. The extra interior volume of a trawler hull shows up here more than anywhere: the cabins are larger than a gulet of the same length can offer, and the saloon is a genuine indoor space for the days when the wind gets up.
Where She Cruises
Bodrum opens north into the Gulf of Gokova and south toward Datca, both within a morning. Kos and the nearer Greek islands are reachable with clearance arranged in advance.
The Gulf of Gokova route suits her well, since the bays are deep enough for a hull this size. In the same class, Trawler Albatros Explorer is a 26 metre working out of Fethiye. Moving up into motor yachts proper, Serenity 2 is 40.5 metres out of Bodrum with a crew of seven. The wider motor yacht fleet covers everything above her. Chartering Calm Down
As a motor vessel she charters by the day at any point in the season, with no weekly minimum. Rates below are per day and include crew, fuel, home port harbour fees and everything on board.

Food and Beverage
We offer full board accommodation for your yacht charter. You can choose between standard, luxury or deluxe menus and pay between 55 and 85 Euros per person per day.
You can supply your alcoholic beverages or you can order us.
All service is provided by boat staff.
Charter Periods
Most of the gulets are rented on a WEEKLY basis from Saturday to Saturday, especially during high season (June-July-August-September). Smaller gulets with lower capacity can be rented for shorter periods. In May and October, which is called the Low Season, charters can be done for any period.
The time of boarding is after 3.00 pm on Saturdays and disembarkation is by 10.00 am following Saturday.
Motoryachts are rented on a daily base any time of the season, there is no limitation like gulets.
Cancellation Conditions
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the reservation, the following cancellation conditions apply, depending on the date interval in between approving and canceling a charter agreement;
a) If cancellation is done 60 days prior to arrival, deductible will be 20% of the total charter price
b) If cancellation is done 59 days or less prior to arrival, deductible will be 40% of the total charter price
c) If cancellation is done 15 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total charter price will be required.
