Eight Cabins for Sixteen
Gulet Vesta 1 Sevil is 32 metres with a seven metre beam, eight cabins for sixteen guests and a crew of five. Built in 2004 and refitted twice since, most recently in 2020, luxury class, home port Marmaris. Eight cabins on a 32 metre hull puts her in a small group of boats built for larger parties, and the two master suites mean not everyone is in the same size room.
What a Week on Board Feels Like
Sixteen people is a proper group, and the boat is set up so it works rather than crowds. The aft deck takes everyone at one table, which sounds minor until you have chartered a narrower boat and eaten in shifts. Mornings, some are swimming at nine and some surface at noon, and the crew of five handle both without anyone waiting.
Days settle into short passages and long stops. Engines on after breakfast, an hour of motoring, then a bay where the group scatters: some in the water, some asleep, some talking until lunch. Marmaris weeks suit larger boats because the anchorages sit close together, so more of the week is spent stationary and swimming than under way.
Evenings run late on a boat this size. Two generators carry the lights and the air conditioning without anyone rationing anything, so dinner stretches and somebody is always still up on deck.
Eight Cabins for Sixteen Guests
Sixteen guests across eight cabins: two master suites and six doubles, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. That capacity puts her in a narrow group: extended families, wedding parties, company trips, or two or three families who want one boat rather than two. Booking a single gulet for sixteen usually works out cheaper per head than splitting the group across smaller boats, and it keeps everyone in the same bay each night.
Where She Cruises
Marmaris splits two ways. West into Hisaronu and around Datca for quiet bays, past the ancient ruins of Caunos near Dalyan. East toward Gocek, Fethiye and the twelve islands. The Greek Dodecanese is a day off with clearance arranged in advance.
The Gulf of Gokova route works well for larger groups because the bays are big enough to take a boat this size comfortably. In the same large group class from the same port, Gulet S.Nur Taylan is a 35 metre with eight cabins for eighteen. A step up in finish takes you to Halcon Del Mar, 42 metres of luxury gulet with a crew of six. For background on the region, the official Türkiye tourism portal is a fair starting point.
