Seven Cabins for a Group of Fourteen
Gulet Ugur takes fourteen guests across seven cabins, which on a 31 metre hull with an eight metre beam makes her one of the more practical large group boats working out of Marmaris. Crew of five. Built in 2005 and refitted in 2020.
Twin 375 HP John Deere engines, generators at 33 kW and 22.5 kW. Straightforward, well maintained, and priced for groups who would rather spend the budget on the week than on the brochure.
What a Week on Board Feels Like
Fourteen people is a proper group, and the boat handles it because of the beam rather than the length. Eight metres across a 31 metre hull gives an aft deck that seats everyone at one table, which sounds minor until you have chartered a narrower boat and eaten in two shifts.
The days settle quickly. Engines after breakfast, an hour or so of motoring, then a bay where the group scatters. Some swim, some sleep, some sit and talk until lunch. The crew of five keep it moving without making it feel organised, and by the third day nobody is checking the time.
Marmaris weeks are good for groups because the anchorages come close together. You are never facing a long day under engine to reach the next stop, so the boat spends more of the week stationary and swimming than travelling.
Seven Cabins for Fourteen Guests
Fourteen guests across seven cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. Seven cabins on this length means everyone gets a door that closes, which is the difference between a group holiday that works and one that gets tense by Wednesday. She suits three families sharing, or a group of friends who want a cabin each without stepping into luxury pricing.
Where She Cruises
Marmaris splits two ways. West into Hisaronu and around Datca, where the bays stay quiet through August. East toward Gocek, Fethiye and the twelve islands. The Greek Dodecanese is a day away with clearance arranged in advance.
The Gulf of Gokova route is the other classic week on this coast.
In the same class from the same port, Gulet Prenses Esila is a 32 metre for twelve. Stepping up in size and finish, Halcon Del Mar is 42 metres of luxury gulet with a crew of six. The official Türkiye tourism portal covers the region itself.
