Ultra Luxury at the Top of the Bodrum Fleet
Gulet Kaya Guneri 5 sits at the top end of the Bodrum fleet. Just under forty metres with a nine metre beam, six cabins for twelve guests, and a crew of seven. That crew number is the one to notice. Seven people looking after twelve is superyacht service on a gulet hull, and it changes the week entirely.
Built in 2009 and maintained to a standard that shows, she runs twin 550 HP Caterpillar engines with three generators behind them. Bodrum is her home port.
What a Week on Board Feels Like
The difference between a good gulet and an ultra luxury one is not the furniture. It is the number of things you stop having to think about.
Mornings start when you decide they start. Breakfast is not a sitting, it is whenever you appear on the aft deck. Somebody brings coffee before you ask. The tender is in the water by nine whether anyone has mentioned wanting it, because on a boat with seven crew, one of them has already worked out that today looks like a water day.
Nine metres of beam gives her the deck space that shorter gulets spend the whole week wishing for. The aft deck seats twelve for dinner without anyone turning sideways to let a plate past. The foredeck is a separate world, which matters when half the party wants sun and the other half wants shade and conversation.
Evenings are the part guests describe afterwards. The generators carry the air conditioning, the lights and the galley without anyone thinking about it, so dinner runs as long as it runs. Cabins are cold when you finally go down. Nobody is woken at seven by an engine because the crew have already worked out the morning without you.
Six Cabins for Twelve Guests
Twelve guests across six cabins, each en suite with individual air conditioning. On a 39.5 metre hull with this beam the cabins are properly sized rather than clever, and the saloon works as a room in its own right for the days the meltemi gets up. She suits a family taking the whole boat, or six couples who expect a level of service closer to a small hotel than a charter yacht.
Where She Cruises
Bodrum opens north into the Gulf of Gokova and south around the Datca peninsula, both within a morning of the marina. Kos and the nearer Dodecanese islands are a short crossing with clearance arranged in advance.
The Gulf of Gokova route is the classic week and suits a boat this size, since the bays are deep enough to take her comfortably.

Food and Beverage
We offer full board accommodation for your yacht charter. You can choose between standard, luxury or deluxe menus and pay between 55 and 85 Euros per person per day.
You can supply your alcoholic beverages or you can order us.
All service is provided by boat staff.
Charter Periods
Most of the gulets are rented on a WEEKLY basis from Saturday to Saturday, especially during high season (June-July-August-September). Smaller gulets with lower capacity can be rented for shorter periods. In May and October, which is called the Low Season, charters can be done for any period.
The time of boarding is after 3.00 pm on Saturdays and disembarkation is by 10.00 am following Saturday.
Motoryachts are rented on a daily base any time of the season, there is no limitation like gulets.
Cancellation Conditions
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the reservation, the following cancellation conditions apply, depending on the date interval in between approving and canceling a charter agreement;
a) If cancellation is done 60 days prior to arrival, deductible will be 20% of the total charter price
b) If cancellation is done 59 days or less prior to arrival, deductible will be 40% of the total charter price
c) If cancellation is done 15 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total charter price will be required.
