A 2013 Build Out of Bodrum
Gulet Freedom is 32 metres with an 8.10 metre beam, six cabins for twelve guests and a crew of four. Built in 2013 and refitted in 2017, home port Bodrum. She is one of the newer gulets in the mid size Bodrum fleet, and the wide beam gives her more deck than the 32 metre length suggests.
What a Week on Board Feels Like
Twelve guests on a 32 metre hull with an 8.10 metre beam is a comfortable fit rather than a tight one. The aft deck seats everyone at one table, the foredeck gives the group somewhere separate to sit, and the crew of four keep the week running without making it feel staffed.
A newer boat shows in the details. The 2017 refit means things still close properly and the cabins have not been made over twice, which after a few seasons is where older gulets start to feel their age. Days go the way they go out of Bodrum: engines after breakfast, an hour north into the Gulf of Gokova or south toward Datca, then a bay for swimming until the heat drops.
Evenings settle on that wide aft deck. Two generators hold the air conditioning through the night, so the cabins are cold when you go down and dinner runs as late as it runs. In a Gokova bay with pine to the waterline and no road behind it, the week finds the pace you came for.
Six Cabins for Twelve Guests
Twelve guests across six cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. The 8.10 metre beam gives square cabins and a saloon that works as an indoor room when the meltemi gets up. She suits two or three families sharing, or six couples who want a cabin each on a recently built boat without stepping into ultra luxury pricing.
Where She Cruises
From Bodrum the Gulf of Gokova runs north and the Datca peninsula south, both a morning away. Kos and the nearer Greek islands are reachable with clearance arranged in advance. For background on the region, the official Türkiye tourism portal is a fair starting point.
The Gulf of Gokova route is the classic Bodrum week. In the same class out of the same port, Gulet Enderim A is a 29 metre for twelve. A step up in finish takes you to Gulet Grace, a 33 metre ultra luxury gulet, also based in Bodrum.
