The Middle of the Marmaris Fleet

Gulet Berrak Su is 33 metres with an eight metre beam, six cabins for twelve guests and a crew of five. Built in 2008 and refitted in 2017, luxury class, home port Marmaris. She sits in the middle of the fleet: enough boat to take twelve in comfort, small enough to stay easy to handle and reasonable to charter.

What a Week on Board Feels Like

Twelve guests on a 33 metre hull with an eight metre beam is a comfortable ratio rather than a tight one. The aft deck seats everyone at one table, the foredeck gives the group somewhere else to be, and the five crew keep the week running without making it feel staffed.

Days go the way they go on this coast. Engines after breakfast, an hour of motoring, then a bay for swimming until the heat drops. The water west toward Hisaronu stays clear and the anchorages stay quiet, even through August. Meals happen on deck and nobody dresses for them.

Evenings are the part that stays with people. The generators hold the air conditioning through the night, dinner runs late on the aft deck, and in a bay with the castle lights of Marmaris somewhere behind you, or nothing at all, the week slows to the pace it should.

Six Cabins for Twelve Guests

Twelve guests across six cabins, each with an en suite bathroom and its own air conditioning. The eight metre beam gives cabins that are properly square rather than narrow, and a saloon that works as an indoor room when the meltemi gets up. She suits two or three families sharing, or six couples who want a cabin each without stepping into ultra luxury pricing.

Where She Cruises

Marmaris splits two ways. West into Hisaronu and around the Datca peninsula for quiet bays and small harbours, past the ancient city of Knidos on the point. East toward Gocek, Fethiye and the twelve islands. The Greek Dodecanese is a day away with clearance arranged in advance. There is plenty to see in Marmaris itself before you sail.

The Gulf of Gokova route is the classic first week here. In the same class from the same port, Gulet Prenses Esila is a 32 metre for twelve. A step up in size and finish takes you to Halcon Del Mar, 42 metres of luxury gulet with a crew of six. For a smaller, cheaper option, the near sisters Yuce Bey and Yuce Bey 1 take ten.
